Open Source License Notification

Netcontrol Oy (Netcontrol) uses Open Source software in some of its products, including software licensed under the GNU General Public License (“GPL”). Most open source packages are used unmodified as binaries, but where required, Netcontrol has modified the open source package to perform the functions required for the Netcontrol products. Netcontrol makes the open source software and any modifications available consistent with the terms of the GPL and LGPL regardless of whether those licenses apply. The code made available by Netcontrol is for informational purposes only and distributed “As is” with no support and/or warranty of any kind intended, implied, or provided.

To request a CD containing the source files, contact Netcontrol on the address below. Netcontrol will charge a nominal fee of 40 €, which covers Netcontrol’s costs for duplication, media, and postage. Your request should identify the Netcontrol product for which source code is desired, and must indicate “Open Source CD Request”. Once paid, please allow 4–6 weeks for the CD to be shipped. If you would like to receive the source code via a download, we will upload the CD to an FTP site and send you instructions for accessing the CD image. Also, any questions on open source software used by Netcontrol should be sent to the address below.
